  	Charlcie Holmes Sarratt was born on July 13, 1927 in Clearwater, Florida and entered the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Her funeral will be on Friday, January 20, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Bill Head Funeral Home, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel, with burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker. She attended the University of Georgia and West Georgia College where she received a Junior College degree. She worked as a bookkeeper, cashier, legal secretary and then as a tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service before retiring. Charlcie was a long time member of the Baptist Tabernacle in Atlanta and First Baptist Church of Lilburn where she was a member of the Praise Sunday School Class. Charlcie is preceded in death by her husband, W. Ray Sarratt, her sister, Jeannette Hill, her father and mother, Buford and Lovie Holmes. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie & Lance Fancher of Vero Beach, FL, her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Linda Sarratt of Watkinsville, GA., her sister, Brenda Yates of Douglasville, and two grandchildren, Barron Fancher of Yulee, FL and Jonathan Sarratt of Watkinsville, GA. She has various other nieces and nephews. Charlcie fought a long battle with COPD before going home to be with her Lord and her other family members in heaven. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Luther Rice Seminary Scholarship Fund, 3038 Evans Mill Rd., Lithonia, Ga. 30038. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel. (770) 564-2726
